90 SOFT TOP HEAVY DUTY BAR SET WITH CANVAS HOOD

The Hood
Fits from the windscreen to the rear of the vehicle on all short wheelbase 90” Defenders
Exmoor Trim retain all the original drawings for these hoods dating back to the first Defender soft top production. This enables us to still manufacture the correct specification hood for your Defender.
Today we still follow the same methods of manufacture and ensure that the hoods are correct to the OEM fitted parts of that era.
The hoods come in a choice of colours, Sand, Khaki and Black. Rear windows are fitted as standard, side windows are optional (choose the WSW option if you would like side windows).
Whichever version you choose we make sure that the same rollup straps are used which enable you to roll up the sides and the rear panels when required, a truly great way to enjoy a Land Rover.
The Bar Set
Manufactured in the UK, this high-quality bar set includes all the hardware required to fit it your Defender.
The hoops are fabricated from 50mm steel tube, and the entire frame is finished with a durable satin powder coat.
Once the roof, side panels & rear door of your vehicle have been removed, installation of the bars is a straightforward DIY job. We have a detailed fitting video to guide you through the process.
The bar set includes
- Front and rear hoops
- Interim hoop and connecting horizontal tie bars
- Pair of over door drain channels
- Pair of side of door drain channels
- Screen rail (this is compatible with all Defender’s from 1983 onwards)
- Fitting kit with all the side of body rope hooks, nuts, bolts, washers, and rivets needed for assembly.
Seat Belts
Both the front and rear hoops of the bar set have built in seatbelt mounts. This means you have the relevant mounting required for front seats and forward-facing rear seats. The load area seat belts mounts are only suitable for forward facing seats such as the Exmoor Time Loc and Fold or the Land Rover Tumble Down Seats.
Please Note:
- If you are converting a 90 Station Wagon or hard top, you will need to replace the rear door or modify your own. The hood and bar set will work with either a swing-away half door or a drop-down tail gate.
- The kit includes a TD5 screen rail and TD5 specification hood. If you have an older vehicle with a pre-2000 screen rail, you will need to swap it for the one included in the kit.
Delivery
The bar set and hood will be delivery in a large pallet box measuring 1.75 x 1.1 x 0.5 meters
